Comments Off on Award for my StartUp project OHS
In March 2015, I proposed an innovative project of startup: OHS standing for Open Health Simulation. This project was in the national competition “I-LAB Emergence”. The OHS project has been selected and awarded ! A ceremony will take place in Paris July, 1st.
The OHS project aims at making medical simulators and planning systems more accessible for both medical students and clinicians. In Europe, the medical curriculum does still not include a step of training using medical simulation, though medical students could learn and rehearse clinical gestures virtually before manipulating patients. With our simulation platform SOFA, the development of hyper-realistic will be significantly accelerated, thus making our products cost-competitive.

Comments Off on The MIMESIS team !
Previously known as the Shacra team, the Mimesis team is a research group focusing on the use of real-time simulation for per-operative guidance. The underlying objectives include patient-specific biophysical modeling, dedicated numerical techniques for real-time computation, dynamic topological representations, data assimilation and image-driven simulation.
With the creation of this new team in Strasbourg, we needed a new website ! It is now available !
Check it out !

Comments Off on A new website for SOFA !
Check it out !
The MIMESIS team in Strasbourg took the initiative to re-design the website of the SOFA framework:
All comments and feedback are welcome, so do not hesitate to share your experience. I hope you will like it. This new website includes now a forum, allowing to post any question and access previous questions asked by other users. The design of the website also highlights the latest contributions made using SOFA.

Comments Off on Talk during the “Séminaire Nouveau Arrivants”
Every year, Inria welcomes the incoming employees at the occasion of the “Séminaire Nouveau Arrivants”. I participated in this event as invited speaker. I presented the collaboration between engineers and researchers with the help of Bruno Carrez (SED Inria).
